Title: NXT to NXT-2 conversion Post by: jrr922 on March 09, 2011, 03:37:25 AM I have a WMS 550 Video that I converted to a CPU-NXT slot. Has anyone upgraded (or that knows how to upgrade) it to a NXT-2 slot? Can you just swap out the main board and the back plane board and install the new ones?
Title: Re: NXT to NXT-2 conversion Post by: tacman on March 09, 2011, 12:00:46 PM I do not believe the NXT2 conversion can be done on the 550 platform. The CPU-NXT board that is used to convert the 550 is for the older platform and the Bluebird board is completely different, apples and oranges. A Bluebird NXT though, can be converted to NXT2.
