Title: Williams "Stampede"
Post by: jsmith on March 10, 2011, 12:49:51 AM
I own a "Stampede" slot that is not operating. Is there anyone out there who can help me try to fix it?  I might try to tackle it alone if a manual is available. I know how time is always a problem.  ( my first post) Thanks    "Smitty"

Welcome aboard Smitty.  To troubleshoot your problem, you will have to post what the problem is.  Members will post help from there.  Also, if you put your location in your profile, perhaps someone near you can help.  Who knows, Bunker may be your neighbour and would likely take care of you.

Thanks,
Wayne

Also the full title of the machine and a picture would be helpful so that we're all on the same page about which machine you're working on.  WMS made more than one slot with the word "Stampede" in the title.

Welcome to the site, Smitty!  You've found a fantastic resource for home owners of slot machines.  :89-

As Knagl stated, there are 3 versions out there. I assume the newest one, a BB platform, you don't have but I could be wrong. The other two are from the 400-40X series and with exception to the ones dotmation display, repairs on the rest of the machine should be the same. The 400/40X series has a reputation for bad power supplies. As Kevin suggested, pictures and a more detailed explanation of the problem you are having will be a great help.
