Title: Error code 3300
Post by: izzyphoto on December 10, 2008, 03:13:46 PM
How do I clear an 3300? It first came up as a 65-1, tried to clear that then went into cash out mode, then empty hopper 3300. This is the CPU board from friends machine that was moved with coins still in it and was blowing fuses. I checked this one for any obvious shorts before putting it in my machine to see if it is OK. both S+ slant tops.
thanks,
Izzy

Problem solved. I let it finish cashing out and board is working fine. Now I need to replace his motherboard for starters. I thought using the reset key would get rid of the 3300.
Thanks,
Izzy

Open the dioor, fill the hopper with coins, close the door, and let it finish spitting out coins until it's done.

Either that or use clear chip to clear the entire machine and reset it from scratch.

Take out your power supply and see if any coins are in it, I found more than 30 tokens in one before.  I always do this when I shop out a machine.

Good luck,
Wayne

I did, but it doesn't hurt to double check.
Thanks,

na, I use them as tokens or weld them to lock cams to lengthen it (just kidding, I use washers for that).  I usually buy Canadain machines from the smoke free casinos, they are much cleaner than the Isle of Capri machines I've bought in the past, some of those looked like they fell in.

I aslo use my American quarters at Seneca Niagara casino, when I go there which is only an hour and 10 minutes away.

Thanks,
Wayne
