Title: Arcade Games Post by: Frank A on September 15, 2008, 11:39:34 PM I hope to see many forum friends talking about their Arcade games. I have a Sega Hang On and a 2 player Arch Rivals. The grandkids enjoy both, but the motorcycle Hang On is their favorite.

I have some that are running, some that are in storage, and some that are being repaired.
Right now I'm also in the middle of trading a cabinet to a KLOV forum member. He'll be getting an old Nintendo cabinet to restore and I'll be getting a different cab to use in building up a Multicade system. I have four kids and they love to play to games that come and go thru our house. We always have a core of games that stick around.
Budweiser Tapper MegaTouch Force 2008.5 Close Encounters pinball Austin Powers pinball Asteroids Defender Ultracade We also have games that I get in from repairs and bartering that don't stick around as long. Someone usually stops by to say hello and will see a game they liked when they were younger and away it goes. Enjoy your games! Title: Re: Arcade Games Post by: Flexpipe on October 11, 2008, 07:16:46 PM I have a Arcade Legends. Picked it up with 40 or so games on it. Now have it maxed out with Titles like Galaga, Pacman, Dragnos Lair, Carazy Climber, Marble Madness, BattleZone, Tempest, etc. Nice to have one game that has so many games available. Although the original arcade games have the better feel and sound to them, I can settle for this setup. In my home, space is fast becoming a rarity.

I think it came out great and I can pretty much play any of the big name games that I want. I would however like to get one that plays Horizontal games like Defender and Joust and I also dont have a trackball on mine since I have the Galaga control panel, but maybe someday! :238-
Here is my before and after on my machine--what I started with vs what I have now. When I bought it, it was a 39 in 1 and had no total overall theme. I found parts, stickers, a 60/1 board, etc all over the net. Title: Re: Arcade Games Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on December 08, 2012, 08:48:00 PM There is a 19 in 1 board available that will play the classic Williams games such as Defender, Stargate, Joust, Robotron, etc. Slotsteve, a member here had some of these multi boards at one time.

That would be great but it takes a different cabinet/screen orientation to do it right (sideways monitor vs vertical monitor). An old Defender cabinet would be perfect but then there is that room in my gameroom thing again.... Too many slots/pinballs truthfully but I like to say not enough space! :89- Title: Re: Arcade Games Post by: channelmaniac on December 17, 2012, 05:04:34 PM Hi Frank, I have some that are running, some that are in storage, and some that are being repaired.
Wow... that was a LONG time ago. The Pole Position and Battlezone were sold off and the rest are still in storage. We moved into a new house in Jan. '11 and now have a game room. :D Here's what's in the game room:
I think that's everything. The room is packed! Title: Re: Arcade Games Post by: stormrider on December 17, 2012, 08:49:52 PM Wow...Talk about an old thread.
I was big into collecting the older classic arcade games too. In fact I just sold off the last of my collection which was. Space Invaders original + deluxe Capcom Bowling Defender Missile Command (my favorite) I did build a Mame cabinet but sadly I ended up selling that too. I did keep my pole position II cockpit game which is in storage now,my teenage daughter loves that game so it will be hers when the time comes. Unfortunately out of all the classic games pole position had the most board problems. Here is a picture of the pole position BEFORE all the slots took over. Title: Re: Arcade Games Post by: Frank A on December 18, 2012, 11:00:56 AM Things do change. We moved to Southern Delaware in July of this year and now I only have 2 IGT slots, 1 vintage Pachinko, 2 modern Pachinkos and 1 Pachislo in the garage. Too cold to play now. We left the Seeburg juke box, all 3 arcade games, the pool table, the air hockey and foosball tables, the player piano and the 2 crane games in the basement when we moved. It was a pain to try and sell them and move them up and out. I may have to take up knitting to pass the time.
