Barry,  before you going looking for problems that may not be there!  what version of 92 master do you have?   "H" or "C" . Maybe someone who knows which level of security applies to what set of masters.  I know certain levels of security will not allow a Ram clear using the jumper method. See the attached  link to a few sets of mains.

Hope this helps

well I changed all the eproms - the mains are 920000 and also changed out the game u18/u20  - still 80  doing a safe ram i get a 1. C L  never saw a 1. before.  all the eproms are good - verified on my programmer against master files and they eproms are factory originals.  I get the 50 with door open - close door and get the 80.

Barry,   according to the cards I have  code 80  is a ROM checksum error, or a Supplemental version error.  It also states that these errors are detected during a power up sequence.

could it be a jumper or a dip switch setting out of place???

i will check the dip switches and jumpers - customer machine - MAYBE he did something -  again I changed all the eproms to master copies u3/u4,u12,15,18 and 20.   game powers up - but when I pull the cherry switch for door closed - 80 (or I close the door - either way).
