Once we see a pic it can be identified and hopefully we then can help! :89- Title: Re: Need help with a non-working Universal slot Post by: StatFreak on March 26, 2011, 11:32:08 PM Can you post a pic of the machine? Member funtime1 sent me pics of his Universal Statue of Liberty three-line machine. It showed error code 12. This code is a bad ram error. Usually caused by bad/dead battery on mpu. (Universal has no low battery error.) Fix is to perform ram clear on startup. As a precaution inspect battery for leakage on mpu board and replace if needed. The NiCd battery may hold a charge or you may get this error on every startup. Funtime1 tells me machine is up and running! Title: Re: Need help with a non-working Universal slot Post by: Mr. Dinoman on November 06, 2013, 10:24:11 PM You have a "Skill stop" Japanese slot machine....Disregard my last post-It was for a Real Universal slot machine...Not sure what you have and there is not schematic available for these machines...There are 220vac and if you are in the US you need a 110vac to 220vac converter...Does yours have one?...Check that you are still getting 220vac on the output of the transformer if you do...BE CAREFUL...High voltage!...It is possible you blow up your transformer...

Title: Re: Need help with a non-working Universal slot Post by: Mr. Dinoman on November 07, 2013, 11:59:46 PM In my opinion, they are not worth it ...By the time you buy 100's of tokens and play it a couple of times you will find it boring after a short time...They all play the same...Not the same as a REAL VEGAS slot machine...
