Title: What does this display go to? Post by: Brianzz on December 14, 2008, 09:53:35 PM I was digging around and found this in a box in the garage and don't remember buying it, maybe the slot fairys dropped it off. Anyway, anyone know what it goes to?

I can't quite tell from the picture but it is either a Meter for a LED5 (Cham1) or a Cham2 meter. A cham1 only has a ribbon cable connector on the back, whereas a Cham2 meter has both a power connector and a ribbon cable connector. Title: Re: What does this display go to? Does it have any chips on the back of it? I have one for a LED5 that has 3 chips, a capacitor and a 20 pin ribbon cable connector on the back of it. Title: Re: What does this display go to? The holes in the PC board are used to mount it to the glass. Wood strips are glued to the glass and the PC board is screwed to the wood strips. Or does the "S" just mean "stand-alone" and still work with a CON1? I have been using one of the mini photons but it's disconnected right now, I haven't had time to fool around with my machines since last spring so they're just sitting around eating electricity and collecting dust. Its a display for a LED5 - I have 3 machines with these in them. I cheated a bit and cut out my player tracking bar that way I could cheap out and not buy the fancy glass. Unfortuantely i also had to cut into my reel cage to make it sit just right. Title: Re: What does this display go to? We had an Arby's about 10 years ago....only lasted a about 2 or 3 yrs before it turned into a bottle redemption center...the redemption center is still in business ever since Arby's left...must be money in bottle returns... :96- Title: Re: What does this display go to? I am wondering where to get a manual for this..or at least something that fully describes how this "linker" works. Nothing happens when I connect the serial cord directly to it, I have to use the only con1s I have - to change the display settings.
