Title: They're starting them younger and yournger these days.........
Post by: reho33 on March 28, 2011, 07:25:32 PM
Here is a vid clip of a MOTHER letting her CHILD GAMBLE!!!! Oh horrors!!! :208- And the kid WON! And GOT to KEEP the WINNINGS (50cents?) Where was casino security when this went down? Technically the casino could lose their gaming license for not catching this, more than likely just a fine. The mother could be charged with corrupting the welfare of a child, among other charges. AND SHE PROUDLY PUT IT ON U-TUBE FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE!!! S__T, this is better than the mother who let her child smoke pot!  :208-

She probably smokes with the kid in the car too.
I always love that one.

I have always run my home machines off of tokens.
When my daughter was 4 she would change into one of her "fancy" chinese dresses drag a stool into the games room.
Use the stool to climb up onto one of the slot chairs and play like Daddy. Very cute.

Now 14 she thinks the machines look tacky.
When she was first in Vegas she just shook her head and said boy people are dumb to put real money into these things.
If anything shes cured of wanting to gamble and is more into shopping.

Its one thing to let the kids put tokens in and watch the reels run, its quite another to actually gamble.

My son (at 16) can competently count into a 6 desk shoe and shows amazing levels of concentration and memory.
......and some Canadian parents hope their kids join the NHL (Hockey) and support them in their old age.
Seriously his math capabilities are quite strong and I think is because he mastered simple math early.
Cribbage is a great game for kids. Many different ways of adding to 15.

It's not a casino. It's an arcade.
The machine is a skill stop and is use to win prizes.

Would you let your kid play pinball?

Oh, OK, my mistake. I thought it was a casino. But I'll bet that it has happened at a casino somewhere. I believe that place is in NJ on the shore and it is a slot arcade. You can review my thread about those redemption machines somewhere in the site. I think there should be more of those places so that people can have fun without a large risk. Of course we on this forum already have the access to the cashbox and hoppers so there is no risk..................

You beat me to it. In addition to the three yellow stop buttons, the background sounds also give it away, as it's clearly a place with lots of children. It looks like a Bally 5500 modified to be a skill stop. They also seem to have put an IGT-sized spin button on it.

<ADD> What's not clear to me is why the middle reel nudged. Was it just a coincidence that the kid pressed and held the left stop button at the same time that the reel moved?  There is no nudge symbol on the 1B, and the 3B seen at the beginning of the video seems to have a nudge symbol on it. :103- Maybe every spin has to be a winner?

On the redemption platform you have to push the 3 buttons or it isnt valid and the "wager" will be returned. The payback % is like 800% I think.

He seemed a bit disappointed...probably because the strips weren't backlit and he didn't get a nudge sound.  ;)
