Title: IGT s 2000 problem Post by: slots4home on April 09, 2011, 04:33:24 PM I made the dumb mistake of plugging the printer in while the game was on and now the reels spin slowely.
I have replaced the cpu, distribution box, power supply and IO boards< still the same problem. The machine cycles and the reels continue to spin slowly. That would clear up any issues caused by changing the CPU and take care of the reel issue too

I think this has fixed other "slow reel" issues with other members. You state you changed the CPU...but did you use different chips or swap them over. Also you state the reel lights do no works. Do they glow dim while the game is idle.?Title: Re: IGT s 2000 problem Post by: Foster on April 09, 2011, 09:41:26 PM if you are still getting reel tilts examine the reel baskets and make sure the fingers on the basket are passing through the reel optics, and no fingers are broken.
Title: Re: IGT s 2000 problem Post by: Yoeddy1 on April 09, 2011, 09:53:32 PM Do you have any different reels that you could throw in?
Jason Title: Re: IGT s 2000 problem Post by: slots4home on April 09, 2011, 10:16:37 PM I found the problem. I plugged the plug that goes from the back lit board into the Mother board instead of the IO board> it would clear but go into a reel tilt every time.
thanks for all your help. Title: Re: IGT s 2000 problem Post by: Buzz on April 09, 2011, 10:38:50 PM Darell Two things could cause the problem. dust/dirt on the reel optics Or look at the reel spokes and see if by chance they are hitting the backlit light bulb holder. I've had a couple of them hit, a bench grinder will take care of the problem.
