Title: OPERATOR MENU and Option 7.1.2 Post by: John0813 on December 16, 2008, 04:20:50 PM I recently purchased an IGT S2000 Haywire Deluxe Slot Machine. I also own an IGT s-plus Gold Mountain Machine. The Gold Mountain Machine has a good hit frequency but the Haywire is "Tight" ...I can play 20 or 30 coins and no hits.....
How can I improve/adjust the hit frequency??? Can I change it on an internal menu or must I get a new Chip...this is all new to me??? Any help is appreciated. UPDATE: I now have part of an IGT Service manual which talks about the Operator and Attendant Menu Options....I can get into the Attendant Menu...but How can I get into the Operator Menu?? to get to menu Option 7.1.2????? Title: Re: Adjust Hit Frequency Post by: Brianzz on December 16, 2008, 04:24:43 PM There's no way to adjust the frequency of the haywire machine aside from setting it to the highest return. You'll see alot of anybars on the haywire deluxe

Title: Re: Adjust Hit Frequency Post by: rickhunter on December 16, 2008, 06:58:24 PM Depends on whether you are using S-plus reel chips or the S2000 slot base chip. If you are using S+ reel chips on the machine, you would need to replace the chip for a higher payback chip, if you have an S2000 slot base chip, you will need a key chip to make the change. (at least that is what I understand of the S2000 platform as of now).
Be aware though that a 5 line game will always have a higher frequency payback than a multiplier type single line game. Also the frequency hits between the highest percentage payback chip and the lowest in Haywire deluxe is not significant enough for you to tell the difference. (6.9% vs 6.3%) Title: Re: Adjust Hit Frequency Post by: John0813 on December 16, 2008, 07:46:23 PM IF I NEED A KEY CHIP TO MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT ..How do I get one for the S2000??

Yes - on a S2000 with a S2000 game/chip installed - you will need a Key Chip to adjust the payout %. Just contact one of the vendors who has a banner at the top of the page and I'm sure they will be glad to help... Dan #2 |
