Title: Multi denom settings not working?
Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on April 11, 2011, 02:28:06 AM
I am trying to set up my slots for multi denom with the extra button next to the max credits button and here is the way I am attemting to do this, it may be wrong:

what i want is .25, 1.00, 5.00,10.00

I am setting my denomination at .25
setting coin denom at .25
on 7.1.1.3, I am setting player 1 at .25, player 2 at 1.00, player 3 at 5.00, and player 4 at 10.00

i review those settings for percentage payouts and it reads for all 4 players

When I am finished, i press my max bet until the machine cycles and resets, but when I get into game mode, I can't change the denominations.

Am I leaving something out? I know my extra button is wired correct because I have another slot that works with the multi denom to refer to

probably already done but...have you verified that your software is multi capable?  do you have a multi capable version chip?

IF the version chip is not multi-denom capable you cant even set up multi-denom.

Just to eliminate hardware issues.
Do output and input test for the door (standard) The Denom switch next to Max Bet is Switch 2 for both tests
The unique wire colors for denom switch are yellow with orange and blue with orange wires, the red and black wires go to every player switch.
Black wire to the bottom (common) connector of switch
Yellow with orange to next to bottom terminal (N.O) on switch
Red wire to one lamp terminal
Blue with orange to other lamp terminal
