Title: bally slot machine Post by: decantrell on April 19, 2011, 05:04:33 PM Hi, I have an older electronic Bally quarter slot machine ser#785-zzh and I believe the model # is mhp2364. I think it blew a fuse and I cannot figure out how to remove the coin hopper so that I can repair it. It has a handle to pull so it can slide out on the rails, but something is preventing me from sliding it out. I suspect there is a release somewhere that has to be activated but can find none. Something in the back of the mechanism seems to be holding it from sliding out. I got the tumbler out by realeasing two catches on each side, but cannot get the lower unit to slide out. If the hopper has not been removed for a while you might need to try wiggling it side to side while keeping preasure on the hoppers handle. It should just slide out..
