Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: jdkmunch on April 20, 2011, 11:16:12 PM It may be...... I'm still looking for the original Nyquil - the new crap just isn't as good.
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: cowboygames on April 20, 2011, 11:17:48 PM I checked Wally World, no luck :60-
And the old Nyquil worked great so of course the government made them *fix* it Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: FORDSBS on April 20, 2011, 11:19:36 PM walmart has it.

Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: cowboygames on April 20, 2011, 11:36:44 PM I was reading reviews on the new formula and lets just say they're not "shiny" especially as far as taking smudges off, ie, finger oil buildup. My gold machines are getting kind of a dark complexion to the finish I want to get rid of. I did notice that you can get the Brasso polishing wads out of England for about $12 with shipping though. My mom used these and they worked really well and lasted a long time. Might have to order a can :103-

My Family Room has that lemon fresh smell from the 409 bottle and I have not even used it yet. :273- I wanted to say thanks to Jim at Better Slots. :285- :293- :259-

Post by: PLUNGER BOY on April 21, 2011, 12:41:54 AM It contains pumas. its like rubbing compound . great for polishing brass or pitted chrome. but dangerous on plated surfaces
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: cowboygames on April 21, 2011, 12:44:19 AM I guess i'm wondering about the polishing wads then, but I beleive those are saturated with a thin liquid polish. I might want to try them on an unobtrusive area first
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: PLUNGER BOY on April 21, 2011, 12:49:54 AM A little polishing wont hurt anything. but if you polish every day (kill it with kindness) are you listening Jason. it will remove the thin coating of the plating
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: cowboygames on April 21, 2011, 12:52:22 AM Thanks for the heads up :244-
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: Buzz on April 21, 2011, 01:05:42 AM I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I'm pretty sure it's just gold colored paint with a clear coat. One thing I am sure of, steel wool and acetone will remove all the gold color. I should say this was true on a S+.
Title: Re: BETTOR SLOTS PRIZE ARRIVED!!!!!!! Post by: PLUNGER BOY on April 21, 2011, 01:17:26 AM I have 5 of the gold machines its a thin plating over the chrome
