Title: Bally not taking bills Post by: FORDSBS on April 24, 2011, 09:02:40 PM I have 2 Bally's I'm getting working. I programed for no coin acceptor & no coin which there was none in.
When I'd start up, BV would cycle but would not take bills & light @ entrance would not light up. I did have jumpers for hopper being removed. I put in coin acceptor & hopper & everything works. I have others setup for no coin acceptor & they work fine. Well it works but have to have coin acceptor working. Just thought I'd mention. This switch is an easy way for a tech to turn off coin and bill acceptance when they want to put the machine out of service without turning it off. This confuses people since it's marked coin acceptor.
