I think were going to be fine there...
I'm not going to stop working, I have built a "Remote" broadcasting kit, will look for PART TIME work doing "Remotes" for radio stations from Hawaii.
When not doing that I will see if I can get any PART TIME Radio-Tech work. I have a complete test bench and portable equipment that I can deploy
if a service company is looking for a 10-99 tech.I want to work maybe 3 days a week....
Wife has survived the cancer treatments, shes in remission and I feel we DESERVE to live there (She loves Hawaii..I do also).
I kinda like the idea of sitting on my fat wrinkled ass, drinking coffee in the morning on the Lanai...not worrying if I am late to work :)
Absolute worst case...we hate it there...and come back to Nevada or ???

Thanks for all the good stuff :)
This is NOT "Goodbye" but mearly shifting gears....

Kirk,

Drop me a line when you get yourself established. It was great meeting up with you in Vegas and I + family would sure enjoy meeting up with you on a beach some place.

Kirk, you know that you are going to have to scan a whole bunch new satellites and that it will be 140W to whatever E so new Asia - Pacific birds for you on FTA. Go to Lyngsat and see what you can scan.

So very true :)
I will lose quite a few satellites, but will gain some I have never seen.

Check out www.satbeams.com

Lyngsat is good...but Satbeams is really something....

Thanks!

Kirk,

I hope that you guys have a wonderful time there, you guys deserve it. I am just sorry that my attempts to get over to meet you in Vegas never materialized.

I want to be the first to volunteer to help your avatar out by wiping the sand off of that butt! :97-

We wouldn't want you to have one either; you're too old, too ugly, and the wrong sex!  :200- :30-  :208- :208- :208- :208-
(Sorry, but that was too obvious a target to ignore!  :265-)  :72- :72- :72-
