Title: Juristriction error Post by: jstraa on May 07, 2011, 11:35:47 AM Hi,
Yesterday just installed a new game, got no errors. Played for hours, rebooted a couple of times, as far no errors. But just now I tried to reboot the machine 3 times; and I got this error. Anyone have a clue? Title: Re: Juristriction error Post by: CaptainHappy on May 08, 2011, 02:47:54 AM Hi, Yesterday just installed a new game, got no errors. I do not have any Williams video machines, so all the help that I can give here is a :263- for your question, and a suggestion to add some more information to your post such as details on your machine like model, config, SW, etc.... Did you try turning the jackpot reset ("attendant") keyswitch, and if so, what happened?
Have you tried doing a clear and reinstall (or change to another game and then back to this one)? You can check the small serial eeprom chip on the board and make sure its seated good, this is your jurisdiction chip.
If all fails try replacing the chip. What jurisdiction program is it? Title: Re: Juristriction error Post by: Forrhouse on May 08, 2011, 09:47:39 PM If it's a re-programmable Eprom it may still be good, but the data could be corrupted.
if you have the data try reprogramming it. E~ Title: Re: Juristriction error Post by: jstraa on May 14, 2011, 12:50:19 PM For people that run into this similar event, I swapped OS and I copied my data from one jurisdiction chip to another, problem seems to be solved!
