Title: Bally saferam clear info Post by: crashed86 on May 08, 2011, 06:02:05 PM I have a Bally proslot5500, triple seven diamond line, one of my manuals says I can do a saferam clear without the need for set/clear chips. I have tried it and it does work. another manual says I need the chips. is there a difference in what is able to be reset or cleared using chips or not? I finally got the DBV working after 9 months of checking wire harness, solder joints etc and tried doing saferam clear without chips and it works great. Installed a new eprom and it accepts all new bills. I want to thank all contributors to this site, without the info I have been finding here who knows how much longer it would have been down.
