I let them dry, hot hair dryer, and no problems.

Most people throw them out, but as long as there was no power flowing to them so they didnt short, I just wrinse them in distilled water, dry them out, then put them in a sealed container with rice... as good as new. the rice soaks up humidity like a sponge. best thing I've ever used for that stuff...

Post by: crgadyk on May 11, 2011, 06:56:01 PM The machine that I'm working on currently was in a flood and it had a half inch of sediment on everything from when the flood water subsided. So far the only thing that didn't still work was the hopper motor and I don't know if it was dead before the flood or not. They were in a scrap yard warehouse when the entire warehouse flooded. The only thing left to work on is the WBA so all in all the electronics on it were unharmed.

Post by: Brianzz on May 11, 2011, 08:41:23 PM The slots are fine, most casinos moved them to the upper floors just in case the moorings didn't move up enough for the high water. None of the casinos are reporting water on the floors, just the hotels and other unimportant buildings. Lots of clean up to do, some will re-open by Memorial Day weekend. There are rumors afloat that 1 or 2 will be pulling a President in St. Louis and won't come back, but we'll see.
