Title: Having Trouble with Bell Settings! Post by: kgs67 on December 20, 2008, 12:41:20 AM Does anyone know the procedure on setting up the bell. I have read the info here but still cant get the bell set up for all pays for a red white and blue machine.
Title: Re: Having Trouble with Bell Settings! Post by: StatFreak on December 20, 2008, 01:21:12 AM Set option 6 to 1 to ring on all pays, 0 to ring on handpays only. Note that setting the bell to ring on all pays will become annoying really quickly.
You must start with no credits on the machine. Open the door. Press the test button three times. You will see a 0 in the coins in and "5 n" in the winner paid or credits window (I can't remember which for the SP731). Then either turn the JP key or press the "change" button to move through the options until you get to option 6. Press the spin button until it reads "6 1" Press the test button once more, then close the door and let the machine come up. Done.
