Has anyone tried UV florescent bulbs in your slot? I was thinking about painting the backs of the glass with some kind of glow substance so that the glass itself would "glow" and then give a different effect than having regular bulbs. (This would be cool for Jason to try on the mummy game). :89-

I thought about that a while back but didn't try it.
Would look good good on some 70's or 80's game kit such as "Neon Nights".

I'd like a lava lamp as a topper as well.... :5-

I think it's been done before -- maybe do a search for "blacklight".  I'd be concerned as to what possible effect the UV light would have on the reel strips.

UV light is used to cure some printing inks.

Yeah, but that's the UV light more like you would find in germicidal lamps, not black lights like they used to have at the skating rink when I was a kid. My shirt looked funny under those lights :)
