Title: S 2000 Triple doubleRed hot 777 5 reel enhanced sound Post by: slots4home on May 28, 2011, 11:11:57 PM I have a A Triple double Red hot 777 5 reel machine that I can get only the basic sounds.
I have installed a sound board with the 42 sound sim and get only the basic sounds. does this game support the enhanced sounds? Title: Re: S 2000 Triple doubleRed hot 777 5 reel enhanced sound Post by: Magicslots on May 28, 2011, 11:17:58 PM Darrel,
Jim at Bettorslots told me that most of the 5 reelers are stuck with the legacy garbage sounds. Jason might know if a different DSV would work, but I have a TD Red Hot Strike with a 42 in it, and I am stuck with the legacy stuff too. there are some exceptions, some of the DD games I believe. :37- Title: Re: S 2000 Triple doubleRed hot 777 5 reel enhanced sound Post by: slots4home on May 29, 2011, 12:22:05 AM I had a feeling I would be stuck with the legacy sounds.
Thank you for the reply. Unless there is a different version of an SB chip that unlocks certain sounds. Found this out with my Triple Double Wild Cherry game. I thought I had read that Cleopatra behaves differently too depending on the SB chip installed.

I'm thinking maybe there's an updated simm available for these. The only other five reelers I've had were vision and reel touch and the enhanced sounds on those come out of the top box contollers

Darell, How many max bet coins is the game? I found that on the Triple Butterfly Sevens 180 coin SB that some of the sound options were not present, but I noticed on a clone game that it had alot of enhanced reel spin sounds... The only difference being the SB chip, this game was a 90 coin max bet. I took my machine and changed it to 90 coins and many more sound were there. It is easy on the 5 reelers as all you have to do is to change the SB chip, change the Top Award decal in the top glass, and change the max coins decal in the reel glass.... No need to change the physical glass as they list payout as a base number and you multiply it by coins bet. Nicer than having to change glass! I am thinking that they ditched the sounds because of the expanded paytable information in the higher amount of coins bet chip for space limitations, or maybe just stupidity??? It may be worth giving a lower maxbet SB chip a try??? CH :95- P.S. I think that Triple Double Red Hot Sevens is a clone of Triple Double Butterfly Sevens, so my theory may work, even though my machine is not a Triple Double BF7's, it is just a Triple BF7's. Thanks Mark> what is the sb chip for that game?
