Post by: brianfink on May 31, 2011, 08:32:26 PM
i'm new at ballys and from what i'v read here i need to do a clear procedure in order to change out the old batterys on my ballys 6000 machines i noticed it looks like some mains dont need a clearchip and i was just  wondering if there is an easy way to tell witch mains need a clear chip and witch ones dont also wondering are the mains compatiblke with all game chips or do they have to match

The newer mains require the use of SafeRam Clear chips to clear. Newer mains also support more games.  Although the oloder mains support most basic games, they don't support some of the features of the newer games.  I suggest getting a set of SafeRam Clear chips (new version) then you're covered.

Thanks,
