Title: Model 1034 "Lucky Sevens" pays as single coin machine multiple coins ignored Post by: Jeff99 on June 04, 2011, 07:13:45 PM Hi,
I have a 1975 Model 1034 “Lucky Sevens” which always pays as if it were a single coin machine no matter how many coins you put in. 1. The feature unit correctly tracks the coins, lights the correct coin count on the glass and advances the ODDS UNIT. So it apparently is counting. 2. A win causes a payout as if a single coin was played and ignores any additional coins. During payout the ODDS UNIT does not move or engage, at the next coin up it does reset. 3. The feature unit also has an ODDS FOLLOWER rotary switch. It never seems to move. I can force it to move by manually triggering the feature unit RESET relay. This will also cause the Safety relay close for an instant. The hopper pays correctly with a few underpays or missed pays, but 95% of the time it’s spot on. I haven’t cleaned or service the hopper yet, so I expect that problem to go away after servicing. Can anyone give me a place to start looking? Also I haven’t been able to find out what the OODS Follower does.
