Title: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: RobertBasil on June 10, 2011, 03:39:13 AM Oh no... It's been less than a week since i purchased the slot machine and the game room collection has started to grow already. See what you guys started? ;-)

It's a real (not computer based) machine that plays 60 different arcade games. Every version of pacman and a ton of other games as well. Will look great in our game room that we are creating. Now I need a poker table, pinball machine and a few neon lights. :-) Title: Re: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: Yoeddy1 on June 10, 2011, 03:59:24 AM Awesome Robert! 60-in-one's are cool. I'm always looking for a fellow arcade enthusiast to shoot the bull with. I lived in arcades as a kid, been into MAME for the last 10+ years or so, and finally have my childhood in my house...slots and poker of course. ;)
Here's a photo of my machine. I think the count is up to 9000+ ROM's now. Thanks, Jason Title: Re: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: RobertBasil on June 10, 2011, 04:04:09 AM I built a Mame cab about 8 years ago but lost it in a fire. I wanted to go with a 60n1 arcade instead of a Mame cab to be "oldschool". I might build a Mame cocktail cab once I get everything else finished with the game room. I think my project after I fix up the arcade will be a jukebox.
I love Mame. Title: Re: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: RobertBasil on June 10, 2011, 04:39:49 AM Here are the games that it plays. Not nearly as many as a Mamet cab, but I prefer the look of the old school CGA monitor.

Post by: StatFreak on June 10, 2011, 07:17:31 AM Are we starting a pool? :199- :199- Put me down for 8 machines this time next year -- along with some renovations to the garage and possibly some rearranging of the living room. :208- :208- :208- I'll place side bets on a 3:1 chance for a jukebox and a 5:1 chance for a pinball machine. :30- I built a Mame cab about 8 years ago but lost it in a fire. I don't know what stopped me - I like a lot of those golden oldies! Great pick for a game room! Remember, don't leave those machines in the dark alone.... :96- Title: Re: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: Jimise on June 11, 2011, 02:16:08 AM Thats pretty cool! I used to work for sega-gremlin in San Diego CA (Rancho Benardo) back in 1981-82. We made the frogger machines, and Zaxxon.
I was pretty good at Zaxxon back then. That was a fun job right out of high school ! I would love to find one of those machines ! :3- Here are the games that it plays. Title: Re: 60-in-1 beautification project. Post by: channelmaniac on June 12, 2011, 12:35:52 PM It's a standard JAMMA edge connector pinout and it's listed in the manual.
http://www.jammaboards.com/arcade_manuals/60-in-1_iCade_Classic_Arcade_Manual_Online.pdf (http://www.jammaboards.com/arcade_manuals/60-in-1_iCade_Classic_Arcade_Manual_Online.pdf) Use a standard arcade switcher type power supply and set the voltage for 5.1 volts at the board. DO NOT SET ABOVE 5.25v. Even though the manual says up to 5.5v, IT IS WRONG. TTL/LS logic and several other types of logic have a max voltage of 5.25v for operation and if you exceed that you risk frying the board. Also, the arcade switchers do not require an isolation transformer but most of the arcade monitors DO. If you hook things up direct without the isolation transformer then things will fry in the cabinet. Be careful and do your homework and nothing bad will happen.
