Title: sizzling 7 does not recognize quarters Post by: gamez831 on June 13, 2011, 05:25:58 PM i had a problem with this machine showing error 21 and thanks to some help i got that taken care of now. the thing happening now is that when i put in quarters it rejects them any ideas? the bill validator works

Make sure you have a good coin in the comparator. Also turn the comparator sensitivity dial back and forth a few times and then all the way CCW, and then just a bit CW. With the door open, there is a small white button on the coin optics. pressing it should add a playable credit. See if that works too. If it''s working correctly, you may still have an issue causing it to be intermittent. The little white button is just a test button. It should not have fixed anything. If it does act up again, you may try jiggling the wires going to the comparator and optics and see if that makes it start working again. might just be a bad connection somewhere.
