The do reserve the right to say the machine did malfunction. But the GC and the casino ( and sometimes the lab) would all have to collude to not pay and consider it a malfunction. Not saying it would happen but lets say you thought you won millions, they could declare a malfunction and the lab could give supporting evidence of that malfunction. Unless you could get the machine to your own independent lab you are out of luck.
