Title: Need Some Help with P.O.G.
Post by: bamspy on June 30, 2011, 11:18:13 AM
Hi, I recent;y purchased 3 Pot Of Gold Sweepstakes machines at an auction. These do not have bill collectors but use a kiosk where you enter money. The jackpots on these are set very high, some starting at $4000. I would like to lower these settings if possible. I tried adjusting the dip switches but still cannot go below the default settings. Every manual I have read says use a key, but there is no place for any key besides the one to open the door. Is there some combination of dipswitch settings that will allow me to lower these base settings?

Thanks

I can help you some thru my trial and error of these things so far---the key that they are talking about is a 3 wire take-off on the pot o gold harness--you use this to short out the board like on an 8-liner or jamma board---use a piece of wire

HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM ROCKET LATELY?-------

Sorry to jump in on this...but I am trying to get some help with the sound on my POG....and you seem to know about the harness...so :-)
Here is my problem:

I have a Pot o Gold metal cabinet game with a T340 board, running 562C software. Ever since I bought my game, I have had absolutely no sound(not even a hum). I thought it was the speaker. I ordered a replacement, and it also does not work. I tested the board on another machine and it the sound worked great.

So I think that my harness is not set up correctly. Can someone that has a pot o gold please email me and tell me which slot the speaker wires are routed to? Currently, both speaker wires on mine go to slot 7(Component side, and bottom). I get no sound....I think one of these might be in the wrong slot. Thanks in advance for your help.
