Title: Tiki Torch System Error
Post by: slotski on July 09, 2011, 07:17:59 PM
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have a 5 reel stepper Tiki Torch that I have tried to get running by rebirthing it a number of times. In the end I just keep geting a system error message and the machine won't come up. I have tried changing options such as payout amounts and SAS or no SAS and such but always wind up in the end with system error. The birthchips I am using  are U57 KBU040 303A ck sum E885 and U58, same but ck sum AF8F. Could I be using the wrong birth chips? These were the only ones sent along with a group of these 5 reelers but there were 4 or 5 different themes. Thanks, Frustrated in Minnesota

Paul
Thankyou, no hard drive in this game. It just has the VIG-520 board and I could only read the game chip U60, (the other ones lable got partially pulled off by the removal of the security tape). I guess the machines couldn't be shipped with the game software in them. But they are not matching. U59 game chip says KB:U87U and the birth chips I am using are KBU040. Is this the reason I keep getting the "system error". Thankyou very much for answering.  Gene

Paul, This is a game Aristocrat took over from CDS. I have a set up guide made by Aristocrat  titled:  SCX 5-reel stepper manufacturing setup and configuration procedures that was with it. Sounds like I have myself a big problem and a worthless purchase until I can find the KB:U87U birth chips. Do you know if this is normal to have a colon after the KB? (KB:) It looks like there is room enough for a number or letter where what I think is a colon is and maybe it's just a  label with poor printing? Does KB:U87U sound like a good number to you?  Thanks, Gene
