Title: 040 Key Chip use case Post by: Yoeddy1 on July 12, 2011, 07:48:14 PM Gents,
I have an 040 Key chip coming. I currently use a Key 22 for my GK. Is the 040 a more universal type of key chip? What versions does this work with? Is the 040 an older version or a newer version type of key chip? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Jason Title: Re: 040 Key Chip use case Post by: uniman on July 12, 2011, 11:03:07 PM What little I know;
The Key 040 replaced the Key 022. The 040 is for non wide area progressive and also covers MD3 operating systems. The chip has both KEY and CLEAR capabilities. Not sure what more than the 022 it would do? Jim Title: Re: 040 Key Chip use case Post by: Yoeddy1 on July 12, 2011, 11:16:19 PM What little I know; The Key 040 replaced the Key 022. Looks like it's backward compatible with the older games. Jason |
