Title: Bally 1090 Post by: Thompy on July 18, 2011, 06:14:35 PM Hi all, have a Bally em that will not coin in, when you make the coin switch the coin in relay on the left side of the reels energises but the handle can not be pulled and you can not coin any more coins? :60-

First thing I would do is to check and clean the plugs on the reel assembly and the hopper. It's possible that the contacts on the coin relay need cleaning..

Is the 'insert coin' lite lit and staying lit while you are trying the coining? Are the feature lights at the top correctly showing it's at first coin? Also check the main feature unit (counter that advances feature payout lights from coin 1 to 3) manually to see that it can advance and reset freely. Let us know how it's going, good luck.
