Title: Bally 5000+ Miser Mode Post by: technoweenie on July 23, 2011, 01:11:48 PM Can anyone tell me what this option is? The settings are 00=Miser III, 01=Miser II, 02=No Miser. What effect on game play does this setting have?

Were you thinking that the machine became more miserly when the setting was turned up? :5- :30- :72- :72- :72- For home use, leave it off or you'll get errors because the machine will be expecting to communicate with the back end server. Although when I first came across that setting and didn't know what it was, a friend of mine commented, "Oh, so THAT's why I never get a big payout."
