This is what the Bally book says the code is :

77  Secondary Device Communication Fault During Game/Topbox.
Wheel Feature Tilt Topbox tilt condition has occurred in
the Monte Carlo and Lucky Wheel machines.

Hi Bill
I'm getting old. I had a Bally wheel that code came up & I don't remember what I did.
I have to see if I have any notes on it as to what I did.

PS  I'm not much help

Only note I found is
wires become disconnected
controller power fails
fuse is blown

This is what I did to clear the problem. Mabe someone can explain to me how this worked. I took a board out of a known working game, did a ram clear and put it into the game with the code 77 and set the options, still did not fix the code 77. I then figured I would put everything back to original and put the board that belongs to the game back in after doing a ram on it and setting the options again. Bingo! Cleared the code and works fine. Why did this work? I have another with the same problem and I am going to try this same thing tomorrow. Bill

Did you do a clear on this board before?
When I clear them I'll do a clear 2 or 3 times to make sure it worked.

Yes, one of the last things I do when shopping out a game is to replace the battery and do a ram and set the options. Mabe I have to do a ram more than once? Not doing much more today, sick from the heat. Got a fix for that? Bill

Got it fixed. Dip switch #1 was not set correct. 4-5-6 needed to be switched on-off-on for secondary divice. Bill
