Title: Door open problem (fixed) Post by: FORDSBS on July 23, 2011, 06:59:14 PM On a Game Maker 7200 I have 2 boards for. About a month ago when a friend was here went
to put other board in which I did not use for 2 month. It booted up but came up door open. Pulled board in & out a few times & would not work. Other board would work fine. Today I got around to check it out. I did a clear & setup - same thing. I got the DEBUG chip out that I got from Jim @ BlueRidge -did clear - and it worked. The DEBUG chip WORKS. THANKS ONE MORE TIME TO JIM. :285- Just wanted to post this in case anyone else has this problem. Hey Reed, it works again. For those who read this in the future and have a burner, I recommend reading this post (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=13204.msg113779#msg113779). It's a different problem, but I suspect the same cause (data change/invalid data on the EEPROM), since the debug chip clears the EEPROM.
