Title: RailRoad Pass Casino turns 80 years old today
Post by: uniman on August 01, 2011, 11:38:02 PM
The Railroad Pass Casino is considered the oldest U.S. casino still in operation. It has Nevada gaming license #4. Built for the Boulder Dam project employee business in 1931.
Located on I-95 south of Henderson.

I stopped there last January with the Mrs, daughter & son-in-law. Nice small casino with some coin-in machines. But don't try to take pic's! The young lady security guard we ran into acted like she was on a caffine high as she jumped into a pic I was trying to take of my daugher, by herself, in a corner. She asked me how long I've been in Nevada cause it's against the law to take pic's in a casino. I told her she was full of s&*^! She then carded my 28 year old daughter and I told her you just chased four customers out the door as we left.
I wonder if that girl still has a job there? Betting not.

The Railroad Pass is a smoky dive.
