Post by: Bettor Slots on August 02, 2011, 01:37:56 AM Just shopped out one and getting some unusual pays vs. what is hitting on the line. Either my strips are wrong or out of order. If you have the machine in front of you, could you do me a favor and record the symbols from the top of the strip down for the reels 1, 2, and 3? Would be very appreciative.

I sent you something that should help. What chips are you using? You may want to ensure the correct notch is aligned on each reel. They are installed such that the second notch down on the strip is aligned with the notch on the reel. Reel strips are SMI 9040. But I think I've just found my problem. Personality chips on the board for U18 and U20 are a E820611X-05 which from my information is for a SMI 9604 AKA 5X Bonus Frenzy. This leads to a WTB.
Something interesting to note...this machine came right from the casino...the serial number sticker on the board matches the serial number on the machine. The personality chips have security tape across them, not tampered with. Soooo...uuugh....some interesting things going on at the casino there.
