When someone is on-line the little ball thing is green. When they are off-line it is grayed out. But I just noticed last night that one member's was flashing green. I have never noticed any of them doing that (flashing) before. And today it is flashing red. What is up with that?  :103-

It's actually supposed to be red when members are offline, and to blink red when buddies are offline. Not sure about the grey. :103-

You are right. It is red, but sort of a dull red (at least on my laptop). The flashing red seems brighter.

I probably don't notice it so much because I always have to scroll to the right because of that  :18- 1152 wide forum screen resolution that screws people with lower res LCDs.  :277-

Why don't the Buddy online and offline animated blinking lights work half the time?! At least mine don't. I usually just see the "off" half of the animation. :37-

And no one's ever explained why I can't see the Glow command anymore. It always worked on the old site but hasn't worked from day one on the new site.

It might depend on your browser? I'm pretty sure it works in IE, but on my phone it just shows up as background highlighting like you described.

It works properly with I.E. 8 for me. On my iPad with Safari, it shows up highlighted.

I.E. on top, Safari on the bottom.
