Title: S2000 "System Error" then "Assert Fail"? Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on August 15, 2011, 08:42:00 PM I just got a machine in and am getting a "system error" followed by "assert fail" cfg_bns.c@499. Anyone know what this means and how to clear this?

bad game chips. I'd try swapping out the game chips first, and make sure any other socketed chips aren't loose. The .c file name and number is the name of the source code file and line number being executed when it failed. Title: Re: S2000 "System Error" then "Assert Fail"?
