Title: Command Center before Labor Day
Post by: brichter on August 18, 2011, 06:55:28 AM
Anyone else going to be around?

I start my summer vacation next week (off work until 9/6) and plan to be in the Vegas area for a couple of days visiting a friend somewhere during that time, and might take a day to shoot down to Bullhead.

If bill's still pulling the bike trailer with that old Toyota - Buzz better warm up the flatbed truck.... :200-

By the way, my little red Subaru died last Thursday on my way to work! Arghhh!!!
So I went out and bought a nice shiny Chevrolet Impala LT...I have a lot more room!  :91-
I gotta see how many slots I can pile into this baby!  :72-

At least wait until the new car smell goes away before stuffing it with dismembered slots like an old telephone booth full of college students. :127- :5- :30-

Looks like neither now, I guess you didn't see my FB page status last Friday.

Dirt biking in 120 degree weather, however, will never be on the table.  :159-

Bullhead is where I ride in the winter.  :271-

The truck's got 30,000 miles since the head gasket, and after a quarter million miles, I guess it's not too much to ask for a little work.  :89-

It'll go another quarter million now before it needs anything besides tune ups or oil changes... :71-

Buzz, the first time I tried that (after loading up me, my daughter, 2 dirt bikes, gear, and a week's worth of clothes, etc., for the 2 of us) the truck said screw this rice and fish crap, I was made in America and I want beef and potatoes!  :208- :208- :208- :208- :208- :208-

<ADD> I came up with a sentence that uses three of the four meanings. Both words can be a noun or a transitive verb, but they can't be interchanged. Use of the word affect as a noun is somewhat rare and I didn't try to fit it into my sentence.

John was affected by the effect of Jane’s words and thus, Jane effected a change in John.

Not cracked, that's after it moved it back into place. Imagine that foot with the little toe pointed 90 degrees to the right. Linda almost puked when she saw it...

Ew! That's horrendous!
In prep school (yes, I was a preppie...  :72-) I've seen a linebacker with his leg bent like a flamingo once...
We were all puking like bulimic fashion models...  :86-

P.S. Ron answered my question about 5 hours ago. It was a table saw accident.  Ron, I hope you're okay. :103-
