Title: Mini photon for S2000 set up any help? Post by: morspeed on August 18, 2011, 06:18:38 PM How do you set up a mini photon for an S2000? I can test it thru 7 segment display test but am not sure how to set it up?
Thanks for any help. Title: Re: Mini photon for S2000 set up any help? Post by: Foster on August 18, 2011, 09:43:17 PM you need to use a key chip.
7.3.1 Controller set it to stand alone (level 1) 7.3.3 is where you set the stand alone values. If your S2000 is multi-denom you need to set each denom under 7.3.1 to level 1 stand alone or look at a post I made about creating a progressive value for each denom you use. Note it is for the Spectrum display but the process is the same because I didn't realize that they made a 7 segment progressive device for the S2000 http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=11907.msg103608#msg103608 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=11907.msg103608#msg103608) Title: Re: Mini photon for S2000 set up any help? Post by: morspeed on August 18, 2011, 11:23:58 PM Thanks foster, I did not realize it was the same a say the spectrum. I already know about the multi denom programming. Now the real question, can I run this and a cham II????
Thanks Title: Re: Mini photon for S2000 set up any help? Post by: Foster on August 19, 2011, 12:11:06 AM You can try
cham II as level 1 linked the 7 seg as level 2 stand alone. Title: Re: Mini photon for S2000 set up any help? Post by: IFFV68 on August 19, 2011, 12:51:37 AM Foster knows his stuff. Nice person.
He was going to install my progressive with a blind fold but I talked him out of it. Must admit he's pretty fast with the buttons. thanks again Foster. Post by: morspeed on August 19, 2011, 01:11:20 AM Just a little tid-bit of information: If you already have a cham II installed then the mini photon works with that automatically when you plug it in. It will read out the same numbers. Pretty nice and easy. I am also sure the way foster said to set it up and can run multiple level progressives one on the cham II and one on the mini photon.
