Title: coin-in jam error igt s2000
Post by: j blair on August 20, 2011, 11:38:46 AM
i had meter disconnect error. i unplugged and plugged alot of things and that got rid of my meter disconnect error- now i need help with coin-in jam error. no coins are jammed . oped/closed door a few times. door optics look like they are working because the candle bottom blue light goes out when i close door.  i also took both I/O cards out and had same error. i then put them back in one at a time with the power off of course and still had coin-in jam no matter if they were in or out. what do i check next. i did a clear ram 97 chip and that didnt work!

2 questions

Does it have a coin hardware installed?

If not does the molex coin plug have a cap on it with one wire looped?

Was this game working before etc.

Meter disconnect is the small I/O (small plug on back)
Coin disconnect is the larger one on the door

However if the plug is not loopped or not connected to the CC then you will get coin in jam

Coin out jam would be the hopper etc.

to correct myself it's two wires looped.

Also you need to close the door one time to clear any errors

Glad you got it going.
