Title: Bally 55000 MPU Board Question? Post by: Hotrodslots69 on August 21, 2011, 10:34:06 PM Can anyone tell me if a 5500 MPU board is available that can be cleared with out clear chips like some of the 6000 MPUs, and if so how to you tell the difference?

Just use JW10. 920000's don't need them either; it's the 950000's that do. Just in case, what is the date on the chips?
P.S. I typed this while replying to your first post, although it might not apply in your case: Keep in mind that the older Mains don't support setting separate hopper and credit limits to run completely coinless (at least mine don't). They are missing one of the settings, which are, in order: 54, 56, 51, and 58. Setting 58 is not available on the 920000's. Title: Re: Bally 55000 MPU Board Question?
