Yes sir, I can help you with the MK5, the MK5PFC-II and the MK7 units. A repair guide is difficult as there are so many different faults for these.

Just for some info for anyone who might purchase a Williams Bluebird 2 in the future, they used a similar type of power supply. Same problems. When they go bad almost all of them have a blown transistor(You can hear pieces of it rattling around inside of the power supply if you shake it a bit). There are two of them attached to the heat sink, One behind the other. Depending on which one pops will determine where to focus your component testing abilities. Replace both transistors every time you repair one of these. Also underneath the heat sink, between both of the transistors, there is a surface mount diode. If it isn't shorted already, it will be, so it too needs to be replaced. The whole heat sink needs to be removed as well as all of the components attached to it. That's just half of the fun though. Now you will need to inspect the control board, it's clearly marked. You will probably see a burnt IC or 2. If not, you will still need to test the components and replace them as needed. GOOD LUCK!
