Title: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: jbshocks on August 31, 2011, 03:49:56 PM Maybe this is just in my part of the country. Has anyone else noticed on craigslist if the add says Real Slot machine, vegas slot machine or real vegas slot machine that it is almost certainly a skill stop? Is there a book how to sell your skill stop that tells you to do this?
Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: FORDSBS on August 31, 2011, 04:05:47 PM I think it's across the country that they advertise them that way. :277- :277-

Is there a book how to sell your skill stop that tells you to do this? Yes and it irritates the @#*& out of me. Especially cause you waste so much time clicking on the ad cause you never know when it's going be be the real thing. The sad thing is there are people that actually believe these are real slot machines. :71- Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: uniman on August 31, 2011, 08:08:06 PM They are listed on Vegas craigslist too! And there is also, "Full size slot machine" , etc.
Another thing, I'm always looking for Universal Ultras just to see what's out there. Universal was a Japanese company so when I see Japanese slot I just have to look. :25- And I get disappointed every time! Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: crgadyk on September 01, 2011, 04:12:03 PM We have them on CL here that says "Came from a casino in vegas" I get pissed every time it shows up in my craigslist searches.

Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: crgadyk on September 15, 2011, 11:43:59 AM We had an extremely clever one the other day. They listed it as a slot machine from "IGT Japan" and wanted $750 for it. It was a standard pachicrap but they were "firm" on the price :279-
Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: gposing on September 15, 2011, 12:20:57 PM Do you think people purchase them at that price. I might give someone $25 for one then let my kid play with it.
Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: crgadyk on September 15, 2011, 12:57:39 PM I have no idea... I have a pachi since it was my first machine but it was only $70 and apparently its one of the more fun ones according to some websites. They sell new for like $500 and I know of people who have bought them for that much. THere is a shop about an hour and a half away from here that sells them and apparently they do pretty well. It seems like the going rate for them around here is between $100 - $200.
The ones I like the best are the ones that don't work but they still want $300+ since its an "easy fix" :30- Title: Re: Real Vegas Slot Machines on craigslet Post by: shortrackskater on September 15, 2011, 02:20:33 PM I had a Zett Pachislo "slot" machine. Great looking, worked fine. I bought it a few years ago for $150 (total with shipping) on ebay. It worked fine but I just didn't want it anymore. I listed it on CL (as a SKILL STOP) for $200 OBO and got a bunch of idiots who were "definitely gonna buy it." No one ever did! So about three weeks ago, I re-did the listing to read:
SLOT MACHINE - SKILL STOP - CHEAPER THAN ALL THE REST! $85 It was gone that afternoon. Sold it to a man who wanted it for his nieces and nephews who kept taking quarters from his REAL slot machine! |
