Good Morning Steve. Did you see that the late Bob levy's collection is being auctioned off by Morphys in Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday ? The small stuff like mugs and posters etc will be on done Friday. Lot # 700 which begins with his machines will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday with previews at 8:00 AM. There is a 20 % buyers premium and some of the expected prices seem high. All of the information is on Morphys web site.

The 20 % buyers premium makes them a little on the high side. Bob had most of his inventory priced between $ 1,750 and $ 2,950. It might be a good auction because of the timing. Who wants to travel on Labor Day weekend ? Maybe only dedicated collectors will attend. The real special pieces will go for big bucks and hopefully the ordinary stuff will be among the bargains.

Thanks frank but we,ll see 2000/3000 people next 3days , at our store we are right on us 58 in va heart of the biggest flea market in us , it runs like 400 miles , as for bob levy his prices were always too high, umless they run up prices at the auction they will not  happy with them , very hard to get 1000 for a nice high top today ,Nothing but a few pins are bringing the prices they should sell for and money is tight

I agree that money is tight. We had our Teen Suicide Prevention golf outing and auction on Monday and the Joe Pesci autographed Lethal Weapon 3 that I donated only brought $ 2,200 when the same machine 2 years ago with the same personalized autograph brought $ 3,200.

Bob always had quality stuff, but as you said, his prices were always 1/3 higher than the market prices. I am not going to go to the auction, but I may throw some low ball on line offers in the pot today.

How are the property taxes in your area ? We just got our tax bill and it went up to $ 9,600 per year. What would a 2000 square foot house go for down there ?
