Title: change game theme in S machine Post by: jbshocks on September 02, 2011, 02:10:44 PM I have an S not and S+ can you change prom and theme? Do the S+ proms work? I would imagine the glass would interchange but would verify dimensions.

Title: Re: change game theme in S machine Post by: StatFreak on September 02, 2011, 06:09:20 PM To add to that, you can change kits, and S+ kits will probably fit (if it's a normal sized S), but you'll probably want to see if you can find the correct program chip before committing to buying any glass or strips.
For reference, the all-inclusive S chips use the prefix RS, while the S+ reel chips use the prefix SS, but the numbers are the same. So if you find an RS1234, it will be the same game and have the same payback percentage as an SS1234. Also, keep in mind that the S did not support any fancy game options such as nudging, respins, or haywires, so you'll never find any of those types of games in an old RS chip. Hope that helps.
