Title: Reel alignment issue I have lost alot of hair today
Post by: junkman on September 05, 2011, 10:56:07 PM
I have been working on this all day and im about to pull all my hair out. it seems like a simple fix. and i just cant seem to get it .its a bar-5bar-7's one or two coin game. the machine is a bally E 2241-98  made in  1-14-86  and the problem is it pays out wrong amounts on 2 bet- bar bar bar pays 10 suppose to be 20 . and on bar bar 5bar it pays 20 coins  so i said with the reels locked slide the 5 bar strip around the reel and make it a bar and that should fix it. ya right. nope. so i started moving the reel strips around trying to find a fix they are really screwed up so what i thought i would do is try to find a starting point . where is the jackpot located on the payout disk wheel with the holes in it. i figure i would line the 7s on the strips with the jackpot holes on the disk and maybe it will work . or if you know a better way please let me know just got to know where to start :99-

Junkman, I deleted your other three identical posts.

Please do not duplicate the same post in multiple locations, and please do not start multiple topics about the same problem (even if the posts are different.)

I just wanted to say thank you to all the guys that helped with this post it was amazing at the response I got. Thanks statfreak for making sure my ads got where they needed to go and all the little tips along the way. And I just don't know what I would do without you all. And I would like to thank junkman with finding out the problem last night it wasn't the reel reader and it wasn't the reel strips.  But its fixed now. And thanks guys for all your time. Just wanted to say thanks for remembering us little people all we can do is wait for a little help from the experts and try to pass on what we learn from it. That's why I love this forum so much. And sometimes its the little things that mean the most!
