Title: No Sound on Cherry Master Board Post by: Ron (r273) on September 08, 2011, 02:32:01 PM I was given a New Cherry/Fruit Bonus 96 Special Edition 3.62 board but the sound does not work.
I have tried adjusting the pot located at VR2 but it does not help. I was told it could be the sound EPROM but don't know where it is on the board or if one is available. Anyone know? :103- Ron (r273) Title: Re: No Sound on Cherry Master Board Post by: channelmaniac on September 08, 2011, 05:55:06 PM Looks like you're missing a chip.
What's written under the empty socket next to the unpopulated spot for the 76489 chip (which is a 3 voice sound chip + noise channel)... Could they be at C6 or C9 location?
