Title: My New Toy
Post by: cowboygames on September 13, 2011, 08:00:07 PM
Grabbed this on EBAY today, says it has a "checksum" error, but otherwise parts complete. Probably not a difficult fix and it was a good price :89-

Thanks Jason, I almost got it a whole lot cheaper, but someone tried to steal it in the last couple hours :89- Fortunately, whatever's wrong with it, I think I've already got spare parts for

Yeah, could be a battery, cmos/bios thing or a bad proccessor caused by a bad fan. We'll see :103-

I started to bid on it but the price would be too much.

Bid + $160 shipping

Thanks guys! It'll probably take about 2 weeks to get here though. They say it can take up to 6 days for them to get it shipped. I will definately post when it's running and what it took to get it there. Then I'm gonna need another gold door  :279-

It's not bad. Should be around $725 total investment w/shipping if it's a simple fix and $900 if I have to use my spare top box CPU
