Title: PE+ Door Open but not Strange?????? Post by: Inieas on September 18, 2011, 06:45:22 AM Hi, I have a PE+ that show Door Open Error continuously. When I go into the self test the door shows it is closing, but it does not pulse like usual. What component on the MPU should I replace? Or where should I start Looking?
Please Help Title: Re: PE+ Door Open but not Strange?????? Post by: jay on September 18, 2011, 06:40:32 PM My first guess is that its door optics. Not hard to blow a set of these.
With the low cost of MPUs I would swap the MPU out. If it works then we can work backwards. Make sure its not your cash can door. This drove me nuts for a month. Title: Re: PE+ Door Open but not Strange?????? Post by: Inieas on September 19, 2011, 01:59:40 AM Hi Jay,
I replaced the Optics and they are fine, I replaced the MPU and the machine is now okay. I HATE just replacing boards and would like to fix the MPU. Do you know what on the MPU is faulty? Title: Re: PE+ Door Open but not Strange?????? Post by: Inieas on September 19, 2011, 12:10:50 PM Ok I figure it out! For the guys that might have this problem one day, Q7 and Q5 were faulty, I replaced them and the Board has been tested and found Ok!!!!!!!!

Post by: Inieas on September 19, 2011, 04:50:27 PM Just a quick note. Everyone is welcome, but had another PE Plus with buttons not working today. I found the Q7 transistor blown. It happened because one of my operators put the power on the micro switch on one of the buttons
