Lost my post before I finished......

If I don't get any replies, I doon't blame anyone. I feel like a moron!

I worked on my Sizzling 7's for 3 days, getting help from everyone on NLG . It was working great, except I had to change the top to a round top.

Well, I was wiring up the top  while I WAS WATCHING TV and I dropped a wire. I grabbed the wire and , yes I plugged it into the wrong plug.
I smelled burning and immediately unplugged the wire, but the damage had already been done.

I now have no sound. There is still static coming from the speakers, so I know they are working.
I pulled the MPU out but it was ok.

The burnt smell is now gone, but so is my sound. I put another SB chip in it and got NO alarm sound. Here lies the problem I believe, other then myself :208-.

Where does the alarm sound come from? If I can find that out maybe I can get lucky here.....

You might have burnt up the sound amp . its in the top right side in the top box.  What wire did you plug in  and were did you plug it in   :211-  More info may help us to help you

You know, I took that off and smelled it and it didn't smell burnt. I had another one in the chop top I took off........ Problem Fixed!

And, btw..... Anyone ever get the error message GAME NOT LINKED from a bad SB CHIP?

I tried putting my Big Times Pay chip in my Sizzling 7's and keep getting that error. The same error I got when I had it on the other machine. I ordered a new SB CHIP..... hope that's the problem??????

I got it once.
I think I got rid of it by going into the options and turning a setting off that wasn't needed.
I do not believe it was because of a bad chip because all my chips are "known good"...

BTW sorry r273...I thought it was your post that started the "ham" to float around...lol

I used to be able to change from Super Spin Sizzling 7's to Big Times Pay just switching reel strips & SB chip.
Has to be the chip :103-
